swelling after surgery, using a variety of natural herbal compounds both applied
externally and taken orally.
Doctor Jacono uses two excellent skin product lines that correct the damage to the
surface of the skin, balance pigmentation, restore skin tone, and enhance production

The Obagi Nu-Derm System incorporates tretonin (Retin A) with hydroquinone,
cleansers, toners, and creams to be applied daily. This will diminish the appearance of
fine lines, increase smoothness, decrease pore size, reduce age spots and
hyperpigmentation, correct blemishes, and improve skin elasticity. Through the use
of tretonin a constant gentle exfoliation occurs and the thickness of the dermis increase
providing increased tone and a gentle warm glow to the skin. Doctor Jacono will
prescribe an Obagi system designed specifically for your skin type and color.
The MD Forte System is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) skin care system using
Glycolic Acid. It contains higher levels of AHA for advanced correction, using up to
20% glycolic compound, where most store bought AHA products only contain up
to 12% glycolic compound. It specializes in the best glycolic skin cleansers,
moisturizers and night creams. By itself, this product will stimulate exfoliation and
collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. Doctor Jacono will often add
tretonin (Retin A) for maximal therapy.
